Scientists & Technicians

The technical team is based in Birmingham, England. The core team members have rich experiences in AI research and applications. They have been working or studying at world-leading institutes including the Harvard University, MIT, University of Oxford. Successful application of their work include Automotive Engineering, Industrial Optimization, Medical and Healthcare Innovation, Financial Forecasting, Software Engineering, etc.

Dr. Ran Cheng
He was as a Research Fellow with the University of Birmingham, UK. He was also a Visiting Scholar at the Honda Research Institute Europe. His research outputs in AI-related fields have been successfully applied to automotive engineering and partially transformed into Honda's technical products. He is a member of IEEE CIS Emerging Technology Technical Committee, and has chaired a number of IEEE-sponsored academic activities. He is the recipient of the University of Surrey Vice Chancellor’s Award, and the ABTA doctorial research award.
Dr. Joseph Chrol-Cannon
He was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Surrey, UK. He was also a member of European Human Brain Project. He has been engaged in AI research for many years. His research interests include artificial neuron plasticity, artificial neural network and deep learning. His research achievements have been successfully applied to the analysis and prediction of time series data. He previously worked as a researcher at Xenesis, a UK financial company, and successfully designed an AI trading system with a success rate of over 95%.
Dr. Lijuan Su
She was a Research Assistant at Harvard Medical School and the University of Arizona. Her main research fields include artificial intelligence innovation in healthcare, brain-like computing and neural computing, and her research achievements have been successfully applied to digital health and medical big data processing. She served as chairs of MIT UV2016 and UV2018 conferences, a committee member of the “Boston Smart Healthcare Seminar”, and a fellow of the "Brain Sciences Foundation”.
Dr. Nabi Omidvar
He obtained the PhD degree in Computer Science from the Royal Melbourne University (RMIT). His main research fields include large-scale computational intelligence and parallel computing. His research achievements have been successfully applied to various areas of industrial optimization. He is a member of IEEE CIS "Taskforce on Large-scale Optimization". He is the recipient of the IEEE TEVC Outstanding Paper Award, the Australian Postgraduate Award, and the Best Computer Science Honours Thesis Award from the School of Computer Science and IT, RMIT University.
Dr. Yifang Han
He obtained the PhD degree from the University of Oxford, and Master degree from the Peking University. He has years of research experience in blockchain, Internet of things, distributed system architecture, consensus algorithms, and distributed database. Previously, he served with a large central government R & D department and participate in the national project (classified) security program design. He also has industrial experiences of serving as an information security development engineer, security architect assistant, etc. He is an Oracle Certified Database Expert, MongoDb Certified Database Expert, UK NCSC Certified Security Professional.
Dr. Miqing Li
He obtained the PhD degree from the Brunel University and have been studying evolutionary computing and multi-objective decision-making for more than 5 years. He is the founding chair of IEEE CIS "Taskforce on Many-objective Optimization". He also serves as regular reviewers for a number of international academic journals and PC members for several international academic conferences.

Marketing Operations Team

The marketing operations team is based in Tokyo, Japan. The core team members have rich experiences in marketing operations of Internet projects. They used to be the co-founders of limited companies, and have long-term cooperation with Internet giants including Baidu, Jingdong, etc

Shota Kirihara
He holds a master’s degree of arts and sciences in the field of information studies from the University of Tokyo. He was an ACM professional member and published several full papers in both national and international academic conferences in the field of Human-Computer Interaction. His research project Smart Oral Interpretation System, for which he obtained a patent in Japan, was also the receiver of the Best Paper Award in the Workshop on Interactive System & Software of Japan. He is a full-stack engineer with years of business experience in software development and system design. He is both the developer and the maintainer of applications running on all kinds of platforms and devices in many scales.
Wenfei Xu
He is CEO & Co-founder and the person in charge of business operation of Huge Co., Ltd. He has been collaborating with some industry-leading companies, such as Baidu, Kugo and JingDong, to fully utilize their enormous internet traffic by distributing and advertising. By applying Huge's cutting-edge ASO technology and AI-based advertising system targeting Facebook, he is currently providing deep data analyzing, tuning and optimization services to both domestic and oversea game developers to maximize their profit. His clients, such as Daota laile ,Tales of the 9 swords, have successfully reached their million monthly turnover goal. He is highly professional in internet marketing and has a special excellence at discovering user needs.
Xing Xiang
He is vice president & Co-founder and the person in charge of business development of Huge Co., Ltd. He worked for Kugo Music, which became QQ music later, and played a key part in Kugo's cooperation with Intel and Microsoft on their processors and WindowsPhones. He was also a key staff member of Kugo's strategic cooperation with 360cn and Tencent in Mobile Internet, and traffic exchange cooperation with Baidu. During his term of office at Youmi Tech, he led the business collaboration with big partners such as Jingdong, Dangdang and Anjuke. He has rich experience in toB business development and sustenance.


Prof. Yaochu Jin
He is a Professor at the University of Surrey, UK. He is also a Finland Distinguished Professor funded by the Finnish Agency for Innovation (Tekes). As a world-leading expert on artificial intelligence, he has published more than 200 academic papers, which have been cited more than 10,000 times. He also holds patents in the United States, Europe and Japan. He is an Associate Editor or Editorial Board Member of many prestigious artificial intelligence academic journals.
Prof. Newton Howard
He is a professor at University of Oxford, a founding director of the Mind Machine Project at MIT, founder of the Brain Science Foundation , and founder of the Center for Advanced Defense Studies (CADS). As a world-renowned expert in cognitive science and computational neuroscience, he has more than 20 years of research experiences in related areas. He has served as a senior consultant for well-known technology companies such as Intel, Microsoft and Ford, and he is a National Security Advisor to several U.S. Government organizations.
